In 2018 the NSW District funded the development of websites for NSW/ACT congregations. Part of the funding was to develop “building blocks” that could be used to update any LCA congregation’s website. Congratulations to all the NSW congregations who took up this offer, they now have great new websites that reflect the individuality of their congregation. The addition of District financial support enabled, for example, the website of Southern Cross Finnish in Sydney to be viewed in either English or Finnish.
The total investment from the NSW District was $180,000.
It would be interesting to know what outcome this initiative needs to achieve to be considered successful. It certainly offers each congregation a facility to provide information to web savy members but even they can read a church noticeboard!
